Is GenAI Making Your Feel Invisible at Work? Here’s How to Stay Relevant in Your Changing Workplace.

Today at work I asked myself, “Am I still needed here?” I love learning and using AI but the more I learn and realise its benefits on the job, the more that doubtful question repeats itself in my mind with increasing volume. Can you relate?

In the past, I would spend an embarrassing amount of time spiralling down that rabbit hole of a question, with my confidence taking the biggest hit, but this year, I experienced something different.

I'm okay with the uncertainty this question of value brings. Instead of being fearful of it or getting negative, I enjoy exploring alternative possibilities to how I can use GenAI to bring out greater value and adaptation in me. Yes, I still feel all the feels but I go through them a lot easier and quicker, the bonus, I still have energy in the tank.

The rhythm on how I achieve this is my consistent confidence training.

Before I used to spend a lot of time regrouping to regain the lost ground my confidence experienced when faced with similar value identity crises. Then after all that, I needed to grow into my new version of confidence so I could benefit from the change. Now I save time because I only need to focus on the confidence growth, not regaining what I lost because I no longer lose that ground.

Confidence isn’t something you and I are born with. It's a skill that needs to be trained frequently, but my time is precious, is yours? I continually seek out smarter ways to do things so I can use my time the best way for me. This is why I created 365 motivational audio mindset shifts that are a couple of minutes long.

Fact. I delayed the early release of this for others because I felt all those doubts trying to keep me stuck when I was experiencing loads of tech issues. It was listening to these mindset shifts that helped me keep going and trust that the value I gained from it, may be experienced by others too.

Now I gamify using the Podcast Pocket Confidence Mindset Shifts (yes, that’s its name), by rewarding myself every day I listen to a shift designed to rewire my brain’s default negative bias into positive possibilities.

Yes, it leans on the scientifically backed work of neuroplasticity, delivering you bite-size, action-oriented mindset shifts straight to your ears, so you feel like you have a mentor in your corner, every single day.

I discovered you and I don’t need hours. You need consistency. Two minutes a day for the next 365 days could change everything.

In our world where GenAI is changing the rules, your voice, your presence, and your confidence keeps you relevant, valuable and a keeper.

Create a sustainable confidence that continues to show your value no matter the change.

Insight Did you know that your brain is literally designed to be negative? That took some weight off my shoulders when I came across the studies. It’s called negative bias. Your evolutionary survival mechanism that places your natural focus on threats, risks, and worst-case scenarios. Great for when you want to avoid predators. Not really necessary when you are about to present in front of your business peers or adopting the many changes at work. Think you’re stuck in this negative bias?...

Insight Fear commonly triggers a deeply anchored feeling that you want to run and get far away from a particular speaking situation. This feeling influences your thoughts, how your body responds, and how you make decisions. The more I learn about speaking with fear, and the more I mentor and coach people on how they may speak afraid to be more confident, I see more clearly that the deeper meaning is that you are about to step into new and unfamiliar territory. So What? This new territory...
