InsightConfidence = consistent doing. Consistency does not always mean doing something at the same frequency without missing a beat. It may also mean to keep going no matter the set backs, tangents, pivots, and leaps that are experienced when on your journey. It is movement. Even when you are still, maybe through practicing meditation, mindfulness, or in waiting, there is still movement. Time is still moving, you have energy moving within you when breathing or as your heart beats, and the atmosphere around you moves. It is the action of taking another step. It does not matter if it is a big step or little, what counts is a step. Resting is a step. Taking time to pour into your own cup is a step. So What?Having consistent confidence is not one step in isolation, not one action that stands alone, not one process, framework or methodology acted on once. It is the ongoing movement. Why? You will either not receive any results because what you are trying to achieve requires more than one attempt to gain it. Or. You receive a result, you may not want it, like it, or it may be good so you stop, because you believe all has been achieved, and then it goes silent and you may feel stuck in discomfort again. This is because consistent confidence requires ongoing movement. It takes one step after another. Achieving a good hit of confidence may last for a little while, but I know it will drop off again. This is because you are constantly put into situations to learn, grow, change, and adapt, and these always influence your level of confidence in different settings. You and I consistently require a renewed boost of confidence as we travel in our journey. The way you speak is a huge influence on your confidence, both how you speak to yourself (your inner dialogue) and to others in conversations and presentations.
